Ferrari LaFerrari · 2013–2016

Mid-engined hybrid hypercar pairing a 6.3-litre naturally-aspirated V12 with a HY-KERS electric motor for a combined 963 PS, built around a carbon-fibre monocoque as Ferrari's flagship successor to the Enzo. Collectors prize it as the last naturally-aspirated V12 halo Ferrari and the final chapter of the 288 GTO–F40–F50–Enzo flagship lineage, with values led by low-mileage, well-optioned examples.

The one to have: A documented low-mileage fixed-roof coupe in Rosso Corsa (or another factory hero colour), with full books, single-family provenance and factory carbon options. The 499 coupe is the core collectible; the 210 open Aperta (2016–2018) is the ultimate but trades substantially higher.

Know the real one

Ferrari's first full-hybrid road car and the flagship successor to the 288 GTO, F40, F50 and Enzo; the naturally-aspirated V12 is paired with a HY-KERS electric motor rather than a turbocharger, giving 963 PS combined.
Production was capped at 499 coupes; a 500th car was later built and auctioned to benefit relief for the 2016 Central Italy earthquake. The open LaFerrari Aperta followed (210 built, 2016–2018) and commands a premium over the coupe.
The coupe has a fixed roof and butterfly doors; the Aperta adds a removable roof and swan doors. Many coupes left the factory on gloss-black forged wheels, with silver/grey diamond-cut forged wheels a factory alternative; the carbon monocoque was engineered by Rory Byrne.
Values are driven by low mileage, hero colours (Rosso Corsa or rare hues such as Blu Elettrico), single-owner provenance and factory carbon/signed options; delivery-mile and specially optioned cars have set the coupe records.
